I hope you're all doing well and today is the day I get to deliver the news you've all been waiting for...

THE BOOKS ARE IN!

I'm happy to say that the books arrived at our warehouse this past Thursday night, and they are currently packed in a pallet waiting to be unloaded and shipped out to all of you. Those of you who still have not gotten back to us about your payment or your survey will have your products held here at the Gemhammer and Sons Secret Mountain Lair. Otherwise, orders will begin going out later this week! Due to the workload at the fulfillment center, and just the general shipping times we've been experiencing, I don't know how quickly items will begin arriving. Those of you receiving the lapis dice or the leather bags will have your orders shipped from our home office, so you may expect to see those a bit sooner than those coming from the fulfillment center. If you have any questions about the shipping or your order, let us know in the comments below, or by reaching out to us directly.

In the meantime, if you've got an itch for some Gemhammer goodies and you just can't wait, head on over to our Patreon and help yourself to some free magic items. Looking Ahead

The past 8 months or so have been a turbulent time for Gemhammer and Sons, as it has for everyone, of course. Our decision to revisit parts of the book and add more content came just as COVID started to rear its ugly head. Nothing about the Grimoire has been on time, but in spite of that, we’re extremely satisfied with the quality of the Grimoire, and we hope you’re all as happy as we are with the book and the content contained within in its pages.

Obviously, we’ve lost a lot of the momentum that we had this year and suffice it to say, we don’t want to lose any more. As some of you may have noticed on social media, we’ve been teasing our next Kickstarter project, the Deck of Dynamic Dungeons. We intended to launch this Kickstarter at the end of the summer after completing the Grimoire, but since everything got pushed back, so too did the new deck. We’re now looking to launch this towards the end of November, but we don’t want to launch a project before this one is completed, and the rewards are in your hands. So rest assured, while we start up the hype train and begin to plug the next project, we haven’t forgotten about all of you, and we’re very focused on getting you your rewards and completing this project in its entirety.

That said, as you are our loyal customers and have stuck with us through all of this, we plan to give all of the backers of this Kickstarter early access to the rewards page. That way, if you wanted to get in on some of the time sensitive rewards, you’ll know about them well in advance. Or if there’s any comments or questions you might have you’ll be able to ask it well ahead of the project. Who knows, maybe there’s an idea one of you has for a special add-on or reward that we haven’t thought of that we could build in.

We’ll be able to provide more information on this project in the weeks to come, so for now just get yourselves ready for a bundle of Gemhammery goodness to arrive on your doorstep very soon!

Cards are in! Books are in a container somewhere...

Good Afternoon Wonderful Internet People!

I just wanted to give a quick update on the orders. The cards have arrived at the warehouse and will be scanned in soon. However the books are still waiting to enter the country. As our products are not high priority there’s nothing we can do to push them through customs or make the books arrive any faster. Those of you who ordered just the cards should not expect any further delay, but if you ordered a book, they may take an extra week or two to arrive. I'll know more info later this week.

As a Final reminder, those 21 people who have either not filled out their survey or updated their credit card information, you will be receiving an email from me directly shortly. If you do not respond then I will be unable to process you order with the others and your order will be delayed until we get stock into our local warehouse. If you have any questions please feel free to post them here or email us directly.

Shipping information cannot be updated at this time, any changes to shipping information after today will require me to cancel you order and process a new one, and you will experience a delay in your order. This is not Gemhammer’s policy but a limitation of the shipping software used by our distribution center. For full transparency all of the orders in this kickstarter are classified as backordered, and backorders cannot be edited in the system.

More to come soon, I know you're all eager to receive your books, and we're eager for you to have them. Once orders begin to process I''ll update again, we've also got some information about our next exciting project that we'd like to share with all of you, so stay tuned!

Finalizing Orders and a Good Look at some Good Looking Books

Good Afternoon Wonderful Internet People,

Today I present to you a good look at the finest books we've ever printed, and certainly the best looking book now living on my bookshelf. The Grimoires came out perfect and I believe you'll all be thrilled when you receive them. but before we get into the Gemhammeriest book on the block, I want to cover a few housekeeping things with all of you. 

There are about 25 orders that either have invalid payment info, or the survey has not been filled out. All of the books and decks have been shipped to the distribution center and will be processed soon. Any order not updated with correct shipping and payment information this Monday (September 7th, 2020), will expereince a delay as it will need ot be shipped separately. Additionally if your order contains dice or a leather bag, your order may take an additional week to two weeks to ship, as we are still waiting to receive that stock from storage.

Now without any further ado, I present the gemhammer grimoire in all it's physical printed glory.

Kickstarter has a tendency to de rez some of the images, so if you'd like us to do a virtual tour of the book via twitch, let me know in the comments below and we can get a stream going. Otherwise, let me know what you think of the book. I can't wait for you all to receive your copy. We'll be updating again soon, as the books are ready to start shipping out. Thanks again!
